~I WON the cutest headband...I am SO excited~

I was on one of my favorite blogs Mandipidy and I saw that they were giving away this precious headband and I woke up thismorning to an email that I won it.

~A Photo From Valentines Day~

Valentines Day was so special this year.  Valentines in the past have usually been downers but this year, 

I am married to the most amazing man who God brought to me.  Did I ever dream I would get

married at 32 years old.  Absolutely not.  I thought I would be single for the rest of my life by then.  Well, I was wrong.  October 15, 2010, I married my prince charming.  

I wanted to do something so special this year for him.  I am not a cook or a baker.  He is an amazing cook.  I did throw together Mexican tacos the other night but I wanted to bake cupcakes from scratch. 

I started looking on the internet (remember, I know little about baking) 

and I kept finding recipes that were amazing but I thought you had to have a mixer.  I asked for one

for our wedding but I want the Kitchenaid Mixer so it didn't happen.  (Maybe someday).

What I didn't know was that I could have done it anyway, just not as easy with my handheld mixer.

So, I went to the store and bought a mix and used Betty Crocker icing and little candy hearts.  Did it matter to him that they were from the box?  NO!  The thing that mattered was that we spent time together that night.  I love Matthew!  He truly is a gift from God!

P.S.  The cupcakes WERE fun to eat though!

~The married life~

Married life is such a blast. I never knew I could love someone so much! We have A LOT going on right now. Slow month for photography but busy month for everything else. Matthew has gotten me into hockey! It is quite funny because I feel like the little brother in The Christmas Story. I had a blast though.

I went on the AO middle school ski trip to Winter Park, CO the day after Christmas and I had such a blast. I got close to so many precious girls and some wonderful awesome adults. Matthew didn't get to go this year but is going next year for sure.

We are both helping with AO. Matthew helps lead Praise and Worship for middle school and high school. We help teach for both. Couldn't love it more. Well, I am sure I will! ;)

The girls keep us busy! They are hilarious and so fun. We love them. They are great. Chloe is still a mess. Ali is just laid back! They give me a run for my money while Matthew is at work and when he gets home, they sleep by him on the couch. They are too cute!

I have a new car...a blazer for the time being while we save up for a down payment for my new SUV. I love the blazer. It is so roomy. It is 4 wheel drive. The lady that had it took AMAZING care of it.

I still am keeping my precious niece after school. KINDERGARTEN! She keeps me on my toes too. We have a lot of fun!

We had so much fun with family over the holidays! We are so blessed!!!! SO SO BLESSED!

~I am MARRIED to the most amazing man ever~

Wow, we are so glad that the day finally came. We have been married for almost two weeks now. The wedding was a DREAM. It was so beautiful and more than I could have ever dreamed. I did feel like a princess marrying my prince. We don't have pics yet but they will be on my FB page! Our photographers, Lezlie and Jeremy Andrew were so amazing and such a blast! Can't wait to see pics! Just got back from our honeymoon in St. John in the Virgin Islands. Could not have been more blessed! Lots of pics on my FB from there. WOW, it is real, I am Mrs. Heather Mullin now!
