~My First Ice Hockey Game~

YES, I DID SAY ICE HOCKEY!!! Here is Ridge and me before the game.


Here is me all suited up. With all that equipment, it sure is hard to get hurt. It takes 30-45 minutes to get it all on and then you have to go out there and skate for a while to get used to it and the ice! Wheewww!


My GAME FACE....Well, I can make a better one but I was looking at something when she took the pic!


I was actually super scared to play at first but it is SO much fun! I NEVER dreamed I would like anything like it! Which brings me to the question in your mind,"WHY in the world would you ever play ice hockey?" I have been watching Matthew play for a little over a year now but he is good. Then we started talking about "Sticks and Pucks" which is an instructional league. You really want to jump out there with those big guys but it is so important you learn the rules, learn how to skate and handle the puck. So, I tried "Sticks and Pucks" and absolutely love it. My 3rd time to be on the ice, we had a game. Matthew had bought me all new equipment that actually fit me and I was ready to go. It was a blast!

There is my handsome hubby who coached our team that night. That was super special having him coach. He is the one that has taught me what I know in a very short period of time!


AND....Here is me scoring a goal........................For the WRONG team! Oh well, at least I made a goal. I did get an assist though FOR OUR OWN TEAM. lol Life is too short to not have some fun! (with lots of cushion I might add)

~The married life~

Married life is such a blast. I never knew I could love someone so much! We have A LOT going on right now. Slow month for photography but busy month for everything else. Matthew has gotten me into hockey! It is quite funny because I feel like the little brother in The Christmas Story. I had a blast though.

I went on the AO middle school ski trip to Winter Park, CO the day after Christmas and I had such a blast. I got close to so many precious girls and some wonderful awesome adults. Matthew didn't get to go this year but is going next year for sure.

We are both helping with AO. Matthew helps lead Praise and Worship for middle school and high school. We help teach for both. Couldn't love it more. Well, I am sure I will! ;)

The girls keep us busy! They are hilarious and so fun. We love them. They are great. Chloe is still a mess. Ali is just laid back! They give me a run for my money while Matthew is at work and when he gets home, they sleep by him on the couch. They are too cute!

I have a new car...a blazer for the time being while we save up for a down payment for my new SUV. I love the blazer. It is so roomy. It is 4 wheel drive. The lady that had it took AMAZING care of it.

I still am keeping my precious niece after school. KINDERGARTEN! She keeps me on my toes too. We have a lot of fun!

We had so much fun with family over the holidays! We are so blessed!!!! SO SO BLESSED!

Oh Blog, it has been such a long time since I have stayed caught up with all of my shoots. It is time to get there. We have some great shoots to post. Super excited! I am not sure if they will all be in order but let's try!

~Our Wedding~

We got our photos from Lezlie Andrew and they are amazing. She did SO MANY and did such a great job. We had a lot of fun with her and her husband, Jeremy!

~Our Honeymoon...such a blessing~

We actually got to go to Paradise. We went to the Virgin Islands and stayed in St. John. Here are just a few pics of how beautiful it was. The photos are endless and are on my FB. Still putting them on there. We truly had to pinch eachother when we woke up to this view from our room in our 3 story Villa. We went down to our private beach, we ate and drank with the locals, we went to the beach...several actually. We went snorkeling with stingrays and lots of other things, we took a boat trip (fishing...caught baraccuda, and more snorkeling), we went on the most amazing hike down and back up the mountain seeing mongoose, and deer the whole way. I got stung by a wasp at the bottom of the mountain so we were grateful I wasn't allergic to it because we would have been in trouble. So, a fat, hurting lip I got but the hike was way worth it. We hung around the villa and then on the last night went to a block party for breast cancer awareness. It was SO much fun! We were so blessed to be able to go!

~I am MARRIED to the most amazing man ever~

Wow, we are so glad that the day finally came. We have been married for almost two weeks now. The wedding was a DREAM. It was so beautiful and more than I could have ever dreamed. I did feel like a princess marrying my prince. We don't have pics yet but they will be on my FB page! Our photographers, Lezlie and Jeremy Andrew were so amazing and such a blast! Can't wait to see pics! Just got back from our honeymoon in St. John in the Virgin Islands. Could not have been more blessed! Lots of pics on my FB from there. WOW, it is real, I am Mrs. Heather Mullin now!

WOW...3 Weeks Until We are getting married...



It is amazing the time that has gone by and how Matthew and I have grown to love eachother more and more every single day! We have been blessed by family and friends beyond what we could ever have imagined or dreamed. We have the best family and friends! We could never express just how much we love you all! The wedding plans are wrapping up. Just little things to do now! I just can't believe it is SO close now!
